The Apostles' Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
creator of heaven and earth:
I believe in Jesus Christ,
His only Son, our Lord;
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died and was buried;
He descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again;
He ascended into heaven,
is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and will come again to judge the living
and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body
and the life everlasting.

Community in Christ

ACMCC began as a fellowship for Mandarin speaking Chinese back in 1977. God impressed upon the hearts of several families and 2 pastors to start this ministry. The worship service started in a small chapel at Seamen's Mission with just over a dozen people. As the congregation grew and the closure of Seamen's chapel, services changed to the Baptist Tabernacle. After 2 years of services, the Church was officially founded in 1982 at the Maclaurin Chapel. Since then ACMCC has been serving Chinese international students and immigrant families.

Make Disciples, Expand the Kingdom

“Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Matthew 28:18 - 20

Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord.

Ephesians 2:19-21
